Chris started his career as a nightclub presenter and events compere in the late 70's before branching out into commercial radio.  That was in the days of vinyl... Things have moved on since then, it's only Chris who hasn't...   Each week Chris Munday and the 'Badger' team (The lovely Shashi, Little Chris and Dai Davies) bring you some of the best retro tracks spanning all aspects of rock music including punk, glam and new wave. You can catch him blowing the dust off the vinyl, cassette and eight-track to bring you the music you'd forgotten you loved from the Stranglers to Souxsie and the Banshees, The Ramones to The Rolling Stones and Bowie to Blondie.   His only brief is to raid the 20th Century for the best in rock and the roots of rock.  All this is mixed up with competitions and regular features to bring you an all round rock 'infotainment' show. Home Fan Page The Team Sideways with a Badger... Adult Oriented Rock He’s cute… and has his very own following! What can we say… he takes after his dad and talks a lot.  Is it worthwhile?  Sometimes… Is it ‘wubbish’?  Always! Little Chris presents his own brand of rock facts and general trivia in his ‘weird world of wubbish’ straight after the ‘Backtracks Brainteaser’. Shashi first worked with Chris in radio in 1999 when she worked as a researcher / telephone operator on Chris’s “Monday Munday” evening show on South Oxfordshire’s 106.4 Ridge fm.  They’ve been together ever since. The calming influence in the studio… when everything around us is falling to bits, she’ll be the one who remains unflappable. Every week Dai Davies scours the music libraries looking for all things ‘fresh and old’ (a complete paradox).  Great old tracks that haven’t been heard for such a long time that when they’re played on radio they sound new and fresh.  Quite a talent… but every week he manages to bring us something different. Totally off the wall… and only the very brave dare enter ‘Davies World’. Always in the background and refuses to speak on air… Dai Davies our international man of mystery has been known to be replaced with a rubber chicken!
